figure it out

Yes or no? You move too slow

Sitting on the fence ain’t putting you any closer now

You should have seen what I’ve seen

Your defense is in the eyes of this audience

shoulda coulda woulda never ever did it

shoulda coulda woulda never ever did

Sing this song don’t carry the wrong

You don’t belong you better figure this out

Carry that weight you’ll never hesitate

Tomorrow’s too late you better figure this out

It’s a sin if you think “What might have been…”

Why don’t you put a blindfold over your unseeing eyes

Or are they or are they or are they even open?

Fortune to the other your unrelated brother

Shame on your mother better figure this out

Seek the unknowns you can’t do this alone

Roll the bones go and figure this out

Now you see what you might can maybe be

Why don’t you tear open that package that has your name on it

It’s all there It’s all there yeah it’s already open

Sing this song don’t carry the wrong

You belong you better figure this out

Seek the unknowns you can do this alone

Hey Calderones you better figure this out

thoughts

this was a motivational song (oh really!) directed at ourselves..i didn't think we were doing the things we needed to be doing to further our cause, but the question came down to "what was our cause?" in a delusional world of music, we still haven't answered that one and we probably never will...we probably don't want an answer!

this, i think, was the first song i tried without Michele's beautiful voice..at the time, our priorities were a little different, so i don't think it was a big deal..also this is the first time we recorded with a live drummer, Randal Walker, and he did a smokin' job
